Republikha is a fresh and carefully curated art gallery located at the heart of Libis, right beside Eastwood City. Our space houses paintings of some of the hottest names in Philippine contemporary art and so as exemplary works from some of our country’s emerging talent.
Founded by businessman and art collector, Jenery Lim in 2011, Republikha is a fairly new art gallery that has tailored shows according to his taste. Following the collector’s very first purchase–a Marcel Antonio acrylic on paper, his art collection grew in abundance and so as his knowledge of art and its key players. In March 30, 2011, the gallery opened its doors to the public with a kick-off show, Departure Area, featuring some of the most sought for emerging artists in the country.
Situated at the center of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, beside Eastwood City, and being one of the very few galleries in the area, Republikha is an attractive hub to both collectors, appreciators and even curious passers-by in the bustling vicinity. The gallery has produced shows together with some of the country’s leading curatorial groups like Planting Rice and Project Space Pilipinas. The gallery aims to produce highly-commended shows and collaborations, raise awareness and showcase more of the much-deserved local talent.
